The following research institutes are organised within Faculty 08.
The Jean Monnet Centre for European Studies (CEuS) carries out interdisciplinary research, incorporating the fields of Political and Cultural Sciences, Sociology and History, on the problems of the European Union, its expansion and role on the global stage.
The Institute of International and Intercultural Studies (InIIS) is a research centre for international relations, European politics and political theory. It is also a Bremen Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) trustee and responsible for the Master's study programme in International Relations.
The interdisciplinary University of Bremen's Centre for Didactic Education in the Social Sciences (ZeDiS) aims to develop and improve links between subject-didactics in the fields of economics, history, geography and political science.
